The Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, has extolled the virtues of the Oore of Mobaland, Oba Oladele Adedapo Popoola, saying that the monarch ranked among the ten most important Yoruba traditional rulers in Nigeria and in the diaspora.

Sijuwade made the remark at the grand finale of the 10th coronation anniversary of the Oore in Otun-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

He was reacting to an earlier observation by Governor Segun Oni, who said he had never seen such a large gathering of traditional rulers in one single place in the state. Sijuwade, who led a royal delegation of more than 20 traditional rulers from Osun State to the occasion.
