Nigeria Football Federation has secured an entertainment venue at the 2010 World Cup and the federation plans to spice up Nigeria’s participation in the ‘football village’ to be opened in Durban, South Africa.
According to NFFâ€s head of marketing, Idris Adama a venue has been secured at the cost of N8m after a careful search . And during the event, Nigerians and other foreign nationals will have the opportunity to witness Nigerian culture and entertainment.
He said that popular Nigerian acts like Tuface and others will be on hand to entertain guests visiting the village. He submitted that the aim of ‘football village’ was to make life comfortable for the visiting Nigerian football family while following the games of the 2010 World Cup.
