WARRI—FORMER national chairman of the Traditional Rulers of Oil Minerals Producing Communities of Nigeria, TROMPCON, His Royal Majesty, Pere Charles Ayemi-Botu, has called on Acting President Goodluck Jonathan to re-prioritize the seven-point agenda of the Federal Government and swing into action with the most pressing ones, which are power and post-amnesty program.
In an online statement from the United Kingdom, where he is currently undergoing medical check-up, the monarch commended the Acting President for sacking the Federal Executive Council.
He said:  “For the Acting President to succeed, he has to re-prioritize the unwieldy seven-point agenda and swing into action.
“He should focus on the most pressing socio-economic problems, which are the bane of previous governments, including the implementation of the post amnesty programme, rehabilitation of the freedom fighters, provision of the 10% approved by President Umar Yar’ Adua from the consolidated accounts to be paid direct to the actual oil bearing communities.”
