Basket Mouth tickles ribs in London
Name it, Madonna, Spice   Girls, Kanye West, and Steve Wonder, they’ve all at one time or the other held performed at 02 Arena, in United Kingdom. Even the late king of pop, Michael Jackson was to do his last concert there before death came calling.
Joining the list of who-is-who that had graced the hall recently is our own Bright Okpocha, the man we all know as Basket Mouth with his brand new show ‘Lord of the Ribs’.
Basket, as he is fondly called; last month rocked the entertainment scene in the city of London on Sunday February 21 as he became the second black comedian in the history of the prestigious hall to have a sold out show. The 2500 capacity hall was filled to the brim except that he had to reserve the mandatory 500 space in case of emergency and to fulfill the agreement in the insurance policy he bought for the show.
Commenting on the success of the show, the frontline comedian who is also a GLO Ambassador said starting that big was the best way to start a new show. ‘After resting Basket Mouth Uncensored, starting bigger and upping the ante is the best way to start Lord of the Rib. The show was big, successful and profitable which is very rare in the history of comedy show. The show meets every perimeters one use to measure successful shows. I thank God and my team’.
