It was indeed a time well invested, for all who participated at the recently held health work shop organized by Venivici health Spa, at Victoria Island, Lagos. According to Ms. Arinola Adeniyi, CEO of Venivici health Spa, the essence of the workshop is to help enlighten individuals on the need to live healthy lifestyles; hence creating a healthier society.
Speakers at the workshops were Dr Aiyesomoju, a medical consultant, and Mrs Susan Yemade. Both experts shared remarkable lifestyle secrets, with the former speaking on the care of the brain while the latter lectured on anti-ageing secrets.
In his lecture, Dr Aiyesomoju, noted that the brain is a very sensitive organ that demands that we pay attention to this crucial part of our anatomy, if we indeed want it to function effectively and serve us well throughout our life span.
Mrs Susan Yemade said “a good skin care and healthy lifestyle choices can help delay the natural aging process and prevent many skin problemsâ€. Noting that consistent exposure of the human skin to the sun; causes wrinkles, freckles, age spots and rough, dry skin.
There are many foods that promote healthy skin; in order to have a healthy and glowing skin, eating balanced diet is very necessary. Eat more fruits and vegetables, trade red meat for fish, choose low-fat or fat-free dairy products. Strive for varieties that constitute healthy choices, she addedâ€.
She further advised participant at the workshop to undergo a biological age test which will provide them with a comprehensive health report on their health status, as this will be a foundation that help them engage in healthier lifestyle that will lower their biological age and help them look and feel younger than their actual age.
