Austin Eguavoen and Daniel Amokachi got to meet with their new boss Lars Lagerback on Thursday morning in Abuja. The coaches met at the Glass House offices of the Nigeria Football Federation but declined to speak on the details of their discussion.
Eguavoen, who is currently on training in Holland for his UEFA B license with the Dutch football federation KNVB, flew into the country to meet his new boss and his employers and negotiate his contract.
He is expected to return to Europe in the next few days to continue his attachment programme.
Lagerback and the NFF have agreed on his backroom staff, with Eguavoen, Amokachi and Alloy Agu to form the Nigerian contingent while the Swede will bring in one assistant and one scout.
