Afribank assures customers of continued quality service

Afribank Nigeria Plc. has assured its customers  of  better  quality service as the management  pushes hard for repositioning following the removal of the former MD by CBN.

Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nebolisa O. Arah, who gave the assurance in Ibadan during a courtesy visit at the University of Ibadan, said that one of  the goals of the bank is to improve its services to a level where it would exceed customer expectations.

He explained that Afribank was upgrading  its information technology for better banking services across its network.
Arah said, “We’re implementing customer-centric initiatives based on operational  guiding philosophy of excellence.Our customer service desk now operates affective care line that enables customers to interface with the bank for instant resolution of service issues in any of its branches”.

He stressed that the bank would expand the scope of its banking services to the University community, saying that “we will work to strengthen  the partnership that has existed between the bank and the institution for over 25 years.”

The Group Managing Director said, that Afribank  would continue to explore opportunities to invest in social responsibility projects across the country.Afribank in 1985 donated a building “Afribank Building” to the University of Ibadan as part of its corporate social responsibility projects. The building houses the post graduate school (MSC Banking & Finance) and Economics Department of  the University.

Prof. Olufemi Bamiro, Vice-Chancellor of the University, thanked the bank’s management for its support to the institution over the years.

“As far back as 1982, Afribank has continued to demonstrate a culture of leadership   and foresight by supporting the University of Ibadan.”
