A CHIEFTAIN of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State has called for concerted efforts among all party loyalists towards the consolidation of the gains of the Uduaghan administration now that the battle is over.
The party leader, who is also the Ika South Co-ordinator of Uduaghan Vision, Mr. Jude Onya, urged party loyalists not to allow parochial interest to becloud the overall objectives of the party and the three-point agenda of Uduaghan administration.
Mr Onya spoke in Asaba, Delta State , while congratulating the governor on his recent victory at the Appeal Court, stressing that the coast is now clear for the PDP to put its acts together to move the party forward. He said the Appeal Court victory is worthy of celebration as it has re-affirmed the peopleâ€™s mandate on their governor at last, and commended all those who stood by the governor and the party during the trying period.
The Ika South Co-ordinator of Uduaghan Vision said the governor deserves and should be given a second chance to consolidate on the on-going development stride across the state. He called on party members to be true disciples and loyalists and not hold the party by the jugular by sponsoring opposition in the night and in the day attend party meetings.
