UGHELLI â€” AN indigene of Okpare-Olomu in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. Onoriode Efekemo, has commended the state government for the provision of street lights in some parts of the community.
Efekemo, who made the commendation while fielding questions from newsmen, yesterday in Ughelli,Â Â stressed the need for the street lights to be extended to other part of the community.
According to him, if extended, the street lights would help boost the night life of the commuinity and the socio-economic lives of the people.
While also commending their representative in the state House of Assembly, Olorogun Taleb Tebite, for all the various projects he had influenced to Ughelli South Local Government Area, he restated the resolve of the people to support the re-election of the state Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, and his Deputy, Prof. Amos Utuama and Olorogun Taleb Tebite for a second term in office.
Efekemo noted that the people of the area have witnessed tremendous development since the present administration came on board in 2007.
He pointed out their support for the reelection of the governor and his deputy as well as Tebite was born out of their commitment to the development of the Ughelli South Local Government Area in Particular and the State at large.
