Enugu— Work on the runway of the Akanu Ibiam Airport, Enugu, has started in earnest, according to its Manager, Mr Chigbo Nwobu.
Nwobu said the airport was closed to traffic at midnight on February 10, to allow for the renovation and extension of the runway.
