All ethnic and socio-political pressure groups in Delta State have been called upon to support Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan in 2011 election to enable him complete the projects embarked upon by his administration.
Ovu Foundation Project made the call at its enlarged Board of Trustees meeting at Ovu.
At the meeting, attended by Mr. Emmanuel Okorodu-du, Dr. Rim-Rukeh Akpofure, Dr. James Obire, Dr. Israel Imide, Engr. Rex Ovie, Chief Isaac Kukor, among others, the Foundation commended the leadership of Urhobo Political Forum and Urhobo Consultative Forum for endorsing the Governor for a second tenure.
It enjoined the leadership to close rank and work together for the common goal of sustaining the giant developmental strides of Uduaghan beyond 2011.
Ovu Foundation also congratulated the Governor for the recent conferment of the Award of Excellence on the implementation of the Micro-Credit Programme in the state by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The group used the occasion to call on the World Health Organisation to bestow similar award of excellence on the governor for implementing free medical programme for rural dwellers in the state.
