Obi’s victory excites Onitsha traders

Onitsha—Market leaders in Onitsha, Anambra have urged candidates of other political parties who vied for the
Saturday’s governorship election in the state to join Governor Peter Obi to move the state forward.
Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo, Chairman, Amalgamated Market Traders Association of Anambra State, AMATAS, said in Onitsha on Sunday that the election was transparent, free and fair and that traders were happy with the development.

Ezenwankwo told newsmen  that “there is no time to waste or need for any argument or time consuming court case in this election, which truly reflects the people’s wish and aspirations.”

“What happened in Anambra is what everybody in the state has been praying for. As chairman of AMATAS, the umbrella body of traders in the state, I call on all candidates that had vied for the governorship position to give Obi a helping hand to continue to move the state ahead”.
