M&B relaunches Loxagy, spends N50m on distributors

May &Baker Nigeria Plc has relaunched Loxagy, expends N50 million on promo as it fetes distributors who have shown loyalty to the company.

The relaunch and honouring of the distributor was as a result of the promo embarked upon by the company to reward loyalty of the distributors.

The promotion saw major distributors of the company cart home various prizes ranging from Nissan Jeeps, Televisions, DVDs and fridges.The company also replaced Flagyn with Loxagy

Joseph Odumodu, Managing Director of May Baker at the 2009 Customer Forum, while speaking on the ways to improve its relation with the distributors and growth of the business said that the company has mapped out strategies to break all visible and invisible barriers in its relationship with all its trade partners.

“In keeping with our tradition, we shall reward those who made spectacular contributions to our business in 2009.”

And that is why we have christened 2010, the year of Breaking Barriers. “Not only are we determined to pull down all the obstacles that stand in the way of our business this year.”

“Last year was not a particularly good business year. The global economic melt down touched on almost all aspects of businesses. While stating that most of you (distributors) were not able to perform their optimum.

That, he noted  also affected the company’s own output. “As they say, if the nose cries, the eyes will also join. This we must strive to change in 2010.”
When things get tough, the tough gets going.

“As I sated last year, I expect you all to brace up to the specific challenges of the on going economic situation and address your business practices in a way that will make you triumph.”
