Lucozade Sport trains gym instructors

TO improve the profes sional knowledge and practice for gym instructors and impact positively on physical fitness programs for fitness conscious Nigerians, Lucozade sport, the first specialized sport drink in Nigeria has kicked off its gym instructors’ forum.

The forum which was held  Lagos had Dr Jack Mbom, a renowned fitness tutor as Consultant Speaker. The forum provided about 50 gym instructors with refresher trainings on how to better manage their gyms and offer practical, effective and improved fitness lessons for gym users in Nigeria .

Dr Mbom emphasized that physical fitness is considered a measure of the body’s ability to function efficiently in work and leisure activities, to be healthy, to resist diseases, and meet emergency situations. He highlighted stress reduction, loss of excess body fat, increased energy, and improved athletic performance as great benefits of physical fitness, stressing also the strategic roles of instructors in facilitating a total fitness.

Brand Manager Lucozade sport, Kunle Faloye stated that the importance of physical fitness can not be overemphasized thus the rationale why lucozade sport has taken the initiative to retrain the gym owners and help prepare them for international practice and certifications. Faloye said that lucozade Sport is keen on promoting practices that will immensely benefit health and fitness conscious Nigerians and help them live healthy and active.
