MATRIARCH of the Obafemi Awolowo dynasty and Yeye Oodua of Yoruba nation, Chief Hannah Dideolu Awolowo will host the inaugural meeting of the Yoruba Legacy Forum today at Ikenne in Ogun State.
The meeting is expected to affirm the decision of the January 14, 2010 gathering of the forum which stated that Legacy Forum will serve as an umbrella forum for the Yoruba race irrespective of religion, creed, political or group affiliation and serve as common front for the continued peaceful coexistence of all Nigerians.
The meeting agreed that the forum be inaugurated to discuss, pronounce and identify with the issues affecting the Yoruba nation, with a view to further fostering and promoting a strong, virile relationship with others.
