Eagles may play Paraguay

Nigeria are in the final stages of talks with Paraguay for an international friendly on March 3, a top official of the Nigeria Football Federation has told KickOffNigeria.com.

Discussions are also said to be going on with Japan for a game in May.
The Super Eagles were due to play Portugal in a friendly in Durban on the same date, but that arrangement fell through and now the Nigeria federation have turned to the South Americans.

“Discussions have been taking place and we can say that we are 70 percent there,” the official said. “And we are also talking to Japan for a friendly in May.”
