Rangers coach Alphonsus Dike last week scaled the first hurdle placed before him by management of Rangers FC of Enugu.
The coach who was brought as replacement for sacked Sylvanus Okpala last season later took over the team when Technical adviser Christian Chukwu was shown the way out by the club. Obviously not impressed with his performance this season, Rangers management decided to give Dike on a two-match ‘must win’ altimatum. Dike last week defeated Gombe Unitedand with that result scaled one of the hurdles.
Tomorrow at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, the former Heartland FC coach will be presented with two opportunities to secure the maximum points and keep his job as the Technical adviser of the Flying Antelopes. The snag this week is Rangers opponent-Sunshine Stars of Akure.
The Ondo State team is enjoying a good run in the season and may pose a big threat to both Dike’s and Rangers ambition. The team handled by Solomon Ogbeide has improved this season and one of the teams  with bright prospect of lifting the trophy this season.
