APC appoints sales representative for Central Africa

Global leader in critical power and cooling services, APC by Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Niroshni Nitin as inside sales representative for Central Africa.

As part of her responsibilities, Nitin will provide support to local account managers, assist with partner and customer queries, handle rebates and contracts for partners, manage COOP/MDF funds as well as coordinate promotional announcements.

“Niroshni is a dynamic, results-orientated leader with a successful track record proving her communication skills and business acumen. We believe that she brings valuable knowledge to the channel and are extremely pleased to welcome her to our team.” Paolo Miglietta, regional channel manager for Africa, the Indian Ocean Islands and the South Caribbean at APC by Schneider Electric, said in a statement.

Before now, , Nitin had  held the position of HP product manager at IT4Africa SA, one of the top IT distribution companies in South Africa, for four years. During this time, she performed a strategic marketing leadership role and gained experience in managing global alliances and partnerships in a fast-paced technology industry.

She also developed brand awareness programmes and market communications and was responsible for all aspects of product management.

Her employment background further includes a three year stint at Corporate Business Solutions in Botswana where she was involved in marketing technology as project coordinator and two years at The Complete Communications Company, where she handled project logistics and developed marketing strategies.

“My goal as inside sales representative is to increase customer satisfaction and promote entrepreneurial thinking within the business environment,” says Nitin., adding that “I look forward to the challenge and hope that with creative thinking, dedication and initiative, I can contribute to further success for the company.”
