Former Super Eagles coach to the 2002 Korea/   Japan World Cup, Adegboye Onigbinde has warned the Super Eagles not to underrate other teams during the Africa Nation’s Cup billed for Angola this month.
Coach Shaibu Amodu  during the week was able to convince the chieftains of the NFF to reduce the number of invited players to the same 24 players paraded in World Cup campaign and the former FIFA technical committee member in chat with Sunday Vanguard said all that the team needs is to work harder so as to confront its opponents in the competition.
“Gone are those days when a country panics at the mention of another team considered big in football . Also we have seen how the best teams in the world are defeated by some low class teams.
“Concerning the teams that would serve as threat to us in the group I don’t think there is anything like that. Because it is the level of preparation on any team that will speak for the team, it is the attitude put by a team that will determine if it will defeat its opponent.
“In essence our preparation will speak for us. That is why I am saying that the team should not underestimate any team. For me they should prepare well for any opponent,†he said.
