Chairman of the DHL, Otunba Raheem Ade Komolafe, is dead.Â According to a family source, the man died in a private hospital on Tuesday, after an alleged attack on him and some members of his family by a local government official.
The family of Chief Komolafe is bent on seeking justice through the process of the law. According to Chief Omo Olupe, on Monday the DHL boss was on life support machine, prompting the family to go and report the council official and his father to the Owa Obokun Of Ijesaland, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran.
Another source revealed that the Ijesa sports club of which late Komolafe was the patron will hold a meeting today on the next line of action.
The suspect killer was detained by the police for assaulting the chairman of DHL, Chief Ade Komolafe, on 15 November 2009 at a filling station in Imo area of Ilesa, Osun State.
The council official was said to have driven to the filling station in an unmarked private car, and wanted to jump the queue at the petrol station but was resisted by Chief Komolafe, who had been on the line for quiet sometime.
