The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC,Â has reiterated that it has not accepted deregulation, contrary to the claims of the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Alhaji Rilwanu Lukman, that all stakeholders have consented to the deregulation of the downstream sector.
It emphasised, â€œWe are not about to change our position nor shirk our responsibility to the Nigerian people who have not benefitted from the dividends of democracy.
“Congress advises government to stop attempts at blackmailing Nigerians to accept higher petroleum product prices by deliberately making them scarce and unaffordable.â€
