ABUJA— ABOUT 1,950       civil servants at both the Federal and State levels are to undergo the second phase of the specialized mandatory training programme for Grade Levels 08 to 16 which commenced yesterday in three centres in Abuja.
A statement by the Assistant Director, Press, in the Office of the Head of Service to the Federation, Mr. Tope Ajakaiye, said that of this number, 1,550 federal civil servants were from the federal level while 400 were from the states.
According to the statement, 100 civil servants from each of the four states of Edo, Ebonyi, Enugu and Kwara were expected to participate in the training programme.
The participation by civil servants from six other states of Kaduna, Abia, Ekiti, Borno, Adamawa and Gombe, originally slated for this phase is being rescheduled for another period.
