Super Eagles player Richard Eromoigbe made a return to the Nigerian Glo Premier League when he filed out yesterday for top league side Warri Wolves Football Club of Warri against Abeokuta based Gateway Football Club.
According to the technical adviser of Warri Wolves Lawrence Akpokona Eromoigbeâ€™s debut was made possible after the Nigeria Football Federation NFF gave him a provisional approval pending when the Russian FA will respond to its inquiry on the player.
Expressing delight that Warri Wolves is gradually hitting their peak especially after last weekendâ€™s 1-1 draw against Rangers International of Enugu at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Coach Akpokona added that every thing is being done to ensure that Wolves gives a good account next year in the continent.
The former Super Eagles assistant coach disclosed that his technical team has been able to send the tentative 25 man list of players to be used for next yearâ€™s CAF Confederations Cup Competition in other to beat the 16th December deadline by CAF.
Coach Akpokona said after the team has been fully fortified in line with the Delta State governmentâ€™s desire to fortify the team with experienced players the remaining 5 players will be added to the team.
Meanwhile the chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission, Mr. Anaju Pinnick has explained that the desire to present a formidable team that will be a pride not only to Deltans but the whole country led the Uduaghan administration to give the sports commission the enabling environment to recruit the best hands within and out-side the shores of the county for Warri Wolves.
