“I am sure that we are going to have a good outing out there in Angola. My belief is reinforced after the team list was released. I can say that it is a good team and all the players are going to give a good account of themselves”, Osaze who won Nigeria’s player of the year award because of his consistency and commitment to the national team said before departure totheir training base in Durban, South Africa. “I know that many Nigerians don’t feel comfortable with the squad. Anytime people look down on us, that is when we do well.

When we went for the Beijing Olympics, people did not give us a chance. But we ended up playing in the final. That is the kind of feeling that I have for this team. Indeed, we did not do too well but we did not lose any match. That is a good record no matter how you look at it. I feel strongly that we will do better”, the player fondly called Osas by his pals said.
