Governor Mohammed Namadi Sambo of Kaduna state has urged Nigerians to be more security conscious as they celebrate this year’s Christmas and New Year respectively.
In his Christmas message in Kaduna yesterday, Sambo advised those travelling out of the state to drive safely and defensively to enable them witness the New Year.
The statement, which was signed by the Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs to the Governor, Alhaji Umar Sani, said, “ the Governor, rejoices with the good people of Kaduna State, especially the Christian community, on the occasion of the celebration of Christmas.
“He also calls on the good people of the State to be security conscious and drive safely so that we shall witness the New Year in good health.
“He therefore enjoins the citizenry to appreciate the significance of this festive period and to put the fear and love of God in whatever they do.â€
