ABUJAâ€”The Nigerian Police force has two new Asssistant Inspectors General of Police. They are Mr. Felix Ogbaudu and Mr. Oliver Osichukwu.
According to a released yesterday by the Police Service Commission, Mr. Ogbaudu who was the Commissioner of Police in-charge of Administration and Osichukwu currently Commissioner of Police in-charge of Ports Authority, were elevated based on merit and dedicated service to the police force and the nation.
Before his current elevation, Mr. Felix Ogbaudu who hails from Isoko, Delta State was a one time Commissioner of Police in Amambra and Rivers states. He is generally acknowledged as one of the brightest officers the Police have produced.
Vanguard gathered that the elevation of Mr. Ogbaudu and Osichukwu, were based on the recommendation of the Inspector General of Police, Ogbonna Okechukwu Onovo.
