DUTSE â€” THE Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has concluded plans to construct five additional mega stations in Jigawa State, Managing Director, Retails of the corporation, Dr. Richard Oladipo Ajigoye, has said.
Ajigoye, who dropped this hint in Dutse during a courtesy visit to the state Government House, said Jigawa would get five new mega stations of the proposed 60 new mega stations to be opened across the country, adding that the stations will be constructed in Kazaure, Gumel, Hadejia, Birnin-Kudu and Ringim to complement the existing ones situated at the state capital, Dutse.
He explained that the NNPC would equally partner with the state to execute various projects that would have an impact on the lives of the people of the state as well as make the state a befitting entity, stressing that market, houses and people oriented projects among others would be provided.
â€œNNPC is ever ready to partner with the state government in the area of man power development,â€ he said.
He appealed to the state government to provide water to the mega stations in Dutse as well as address the erosion problem bedevilling the station, saying the station is currently having water problem because the borehole within the station is faulty.
