N3.8bn IPP machines arrive Sokoto

Sokoto — Machines for the N3.8 billion Sokoto State Independent Power Project,  IPP, have arrived in Sokoto, the state capital aboard a chartered aircraft from the United States.

The machines were received by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Sahabi Gada, on behalf of Governor Aliyu Wamakko.

Gada said the state government embarked on the multi-billion naira project to boost power supply
