LAGOS State governor, BabatundeÂ Fashola (SAN), has declared that the commitment which his government has applied to governance since inception will not diminish.
Fashola, who spoke during the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) by Lagos State government with Clinton Global Initiative and the Konsadem Consortium to develop the first modern integrated solid waste, described the project as a partnership among three credible brands.
According to the governor, rather than diminish, the government will consistently strive to increase the commitment to governance towards the realization of noble expectations. Fashola expressed the hope that the integrated solid waste management project will deliver a model for Africa.
While thanking the Clinton Global Initiative and Konsadem, heÂ also congratulated all agencies of the state government for achieving the milestone, adding that the next task is to keep to assigned time schedule and deliver the first phase of the project.
