Yoruba Romance premiere tomorrow
A NEW stage play, “Yoruba Romanceâ€, staring among others, Kate Henshaw Nuttal and Yemi Adeyemi ‘Suara’ designed to disabuse the nation’s tribal prejudices is due to premiere tomorrow Sunday November 22, at the Muson Centre.
Written and directed by Mr Tyronne Terrence of Rosewood Inc, is sponsored by Onga seasoning, a product of Promasidor Nigeria Limited, makers of Cowbell Milk and other consumables.
At a press conference, Mr. Terrence said the play, is an adaptation of a Marriage Proposal – the 17th century Russian play by Anton Chekhov. It is a hilarious comedy about the age-old mating ritual between man and woman.
