Tunisians ready to shed blood against Mozambique
GREEN Eagles number one enemy, Tunisia said that they are aware of the odds against them as they fight the battle of their lives against Mozambique in the last World and Nations Cup cracker on November 14 in Maputo.
But Portuguese coach of the Carthage Eagles has also vowed to shed blood if need be to ensure that they get a win to qualify ahead of Nigeria on their Group B log. He believes that his side must implement a game plan based on movement and pace if they are to defeat Mozambique, and hold on to first place in their group. “We are going to play against a united team and against their fans. But we are capable of beating them at home.
“Mozambique are a good team. They haven’t lost at home in almost two years. They don’t score [much] but they’re united. The only way to destabilize them is to play fast. Nevertheless, they remain a team that we can beat. We’re not going to let anything go. The players know the huge responsibilities on their shoulders. They have worked so hard and deserves to go to the World Cup. So, we will give everything including shedding of blood, if it is necessaryâ€, added.
