KANO—The National Chairman of All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Chief Edwin Ume Ezeoke, has attributed the crisis rocking the PDP dominated federal legislative chambers as an indication that the ruling party has failed the country.
Chief Edwin Ume Ezeoke, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives in the Second Republic, spoke in Kano during a courtesy call on Governor Shekarau. He said the ego fight between the two chambers has exposed the country to national shame among her peers in international community.
His words: “It is pathetic and sad that despite the two-third majority of Senate and House of Representatives, the PDP has thrown the country into a political mess.â€
The National Chairman of the opposition party noted that “If the PDP is committed and determined to serve the country, this ugly occurrence could not have happened.â€
