Omatek assures investors of improved returns on investment

Omatek Ventures Plc  has assured its shareholders of improved returns on their investment in the years ahead.

Speaking during the presentation of the facts behind its figures on the NSE, Managing Director of the company, Mrs. Florence Seriki disclosed that it has put in place various measures to ensure its increased profitability and improved returns to investors in subsequent financial years.

She noted that the company has transformed into a group of companies with the establishment of five subsidiaries and associates companies to help drive its objectives.

She said, “The company has continued to make steady strides even in the face of daunting challenges. The newly formed Omatek Ventures Plc has grown into a group of companies with the establishment of subsidiaries and associates and two factories in Nigeria and Ghana to strengthen its operations.

Omatek Ventures Plc has therefore, become the holding company for: Omatek Computers (Nigeria) Limited, Omatek Computers (Ghana) Limited, Omatek Ventures Distribution (Ghana) Limited, Omatek Engineering Services Limited and Omatek Ventures Distribution Limited.”

She disclosed that the company has recently launched the Omatek ‘e- Xpress Scheme’, designed to ensure easy access to its products at affordable prices, with a convenient and flexible payment plan, spanning between 12 to 24 months.

She added that prior to listing, the company only had presence in four states of the country, but presently has established its presence in almost all the states in the Southern part of the country, with three about to be launched while six centres in six other states in the North would be launched soon.

Seriki further stated that its e-learning initiative has provided a platform to ensure that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools are deployed to schools across the country under structured learning environment equipped with internet connectivity to help bridge the digital divide between lecturers and students.

She noted that it has put in place an appropriate marketing strategy that will help in the distribution of its products across the length and breadth of the country.

“Omatek has embarked on the development of chains of showrooms referred to as one-stop shops. These outlets will retail Omatek brand products either as a subset of the Omatek Group or as a franchise owners on behalf of the brand.

“The channel market strategy involves the penetration of the retail market through the deployment of franchises, exclusive resellers and chains of showrooms nationwide in Nigerian, Ghana and other West African countries.
“With the deployment of the channel strategy, the Omatek brand is entrenched to stimulate sales of Omatek products/initiatives in the regions/states as well as create brand visibility,” she added.
