ABUJA—THE National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Vincent Ogbulafor has urged Nigerians to in the spirit of Sallah, join hands with President Umaru Yar’Adua in his move to drive the country to greatness.
Ogbulafor who in his Sallah message yesterday in Abuja noted that the period calls for sacrifice, stressed that it also offers all the unique opportunity to show and share love to one another and not when Nigerians should dwell on issues that could divide the country.
In a statement signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Professor Rufai Ahmed Alkali, Ogbulafor who noted that the National Working Committee(NWC) felicitates with the nation’s Muslim bothers and sisters and all Nigerians as we join other parts of the world in the celebration of Eid el Kabir, the great feast of sacrifice, said, “this celebration which places emphasis on the virtues of complete submission and sacrifice once again reminds all of us of our duties to the Almighty God and our dear country Nigeria .
“We are happy to observe that Nigeria is at the threshold of a great transformation and this momentum requires the patriotism, loyalty and sacrifice of all citizens to be sustained. This occasion therefore offers a unique opportunity to show and share LOVE to one another and not to dwell on issues that have a tendency to divide us.
“On this special occasion, our great Party, the PDP invites all Nigerians to join hands with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’ Adua (GCFR) in our steady march to greatnessâ€.
