NGO plans free motivational confab

AN NGO, Possibility Network, in partnership with high net worth individuals and some corporate organizations, is putting together a motivational conference aimed at helping youths seize obvious and hidden opportunities in the country. The first part of the conference kicks off in Ota, November  14, tagged “YOU CAN: Exploiting New Opportunities for Upward Mobility”.

Lanre Rufai, one of the leaders of the youth NGO insists that there are opportunities embedded in the economic meltdown. “We see opportunities that youth can exploit in order to build a vibrant future and we also see obstacles posed by shrinking job opportunities and lack of access by youth up-starts to ever dwindling business start-up funds.

It is for these reasons that we put together these series to showcase opportunities and proffer solution to the problems in an interactive way”, he said.
