Man missing from NDLEA custody, family alleges
THE Ezeoruonye family of Akpo in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State has petitioned the chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) over alleged disappearance of its member, Chukwuma, from the custody of the NDLEAÂ in Onitsha.
Chukwuma (25) was, on January 28, 2008, taken to the Onitsha office of the NDLEA for counseling and possible rehabilitation, following a noticeable change in his behaviour which bordered on drug addiction.
However, his whereabouts is unknown now and his disappearance from the custody of the Agency shrouded in mystery. Sunday Vanguard gathered that when Chukwuma started behaving in a funny manner few years ago, the family became worried as it was felt that his attitude could be a threat to the society.
