Lagos State Government has concluded plans to construct over 3000 sign posts across the state before the end of the year.

The state also warned motorists against using unpainted buses as commercial buses in the state, as it would impound offending vehicles .

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Mr. Kayode Opeifa,  disclosing this during a facilities tour of Ikeja, explained that the exercise was an effort to reduce the perennial traffic in different parts of the state, while the signage was an avenue to educate drivers about where to turn and how to use the road effectively.
