As she rolled out the drums to celebrate, friends and well wishers from home and abroad, gathered at the Crown Plaza Hotel on victoria Island for the formal unveiling of her new line.

Segmented into seven collections, all collections were done in black and white fabrics save for the Qualitex la Boutique collection that featured colourful line celebrating Qualitex Textile Limited, one of the sponsors of the event.

Her characteristic signature of trains in both short and flowing dresses were evident with embroidery and sequine details.

In all, it was a fine evening spiced with musical performance by Aju. As Data took a bow bringing to a close a memorable evening, it remains to be seen how this new collection will move from the catwalk to the  red carpet.
