Imo rebrands Ahiajoku Lecture

OWERRI—The 30-year old Ahiajoku Lecture Series has been transmuted into a practical instrument with which Ndigbo can dissect and better appreciate developmental issues and challenges that affect the Igbo nation.

Imo State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Dr. Amanze Obi, stated this in Owerri.

He said that on January 23, 2009, Professor Chinua Achebe, set the tone when he appeared like a masquerade in Owerri, to awaken the Igbos to certain realities about their being and knowing.
