Ohakim observed that in the past 25 years, the School of Nursing in Mbano Joint Hospital, has kept appreciable record in the training of nurses for the nation’s health sector.
He advised the Principal of the school to articulate the urgent needs of the institution and present a formal request through the Ministry of Health, including the issue of affiliating the school to a university as ordered by the NMCN on or before the year 2010.
