YOLAâ€”Adamawa State Government has approved the sum of over N7 billion for the execution of various projects in the state.
Of the amount, a whooping sum of N4.5 billion will be used for the construction of rural roads in Gombi – Gaâ€™andu – Gabun, stretching for about 54.575km.
The state commissioner for information, Alhaji Musa Kamale, disclosed to newsmen that the Gombi â€“ Gaâ€™andu â€“ Gabun road project has been awarded to A.G Vision Construction Company and is expected to be completed within two years.
Also approved for execution is the construction and rehabilitation of township roads within Jimeta town to the tune of N2.4 billion, and will be handled by P.W Nigeria Limited.
Kamale further stated that the sum of N184.7 million was earmarked for the provision of potable water in mini water-pumping stations at Bajabure Industrial layout to improve water supply to settlements in the area.
