Fear over possible arrest of Dokubo

THERE is  fear  among supporters of  the leader of the Niger-Delta People Volunteer Force (NDPVF) and  Peoples Salvation Front (PSF), Mujahid Abubakar Dokubo-Asari, that he may be arrested following a security report that he has been clandestinely training over 5,000 men in weapon handling.

He is also said to have acquired  sophisticated arms and securing international support to launch a full-blown attack on the nation  from 2010.

For about two months running, the whereabouts of the activist have remained a mystery to security agents.

However, spokesman for NDPVF/PSF, Comrade Rex Anighoro, who confirmed that the group was aware of the security report on Dokubo-Asari, said government was planning to use some former  militants to blow up oil installations and blame it on Asari with a view to getting at him.

He said that security information available to the group suggested  that  part of the plan was to also “burn down properties associated with  Dokubo Asari”.

He said the federal authorities could not understand why Dokubo’s group would not accept amnesty and “our continuous insistence and firmness to continue the legitimate struggle of the Niger Delta People against the Nigerian state .

This they consider as a very potent threat to peace in the Niger – Delta region after their believed demystification of top militant leaders”.

nigeria is a wrong nation, the only way farward for the inhabitant is only if, the so call nation first seized to exist. this is hard to swallow, but its the truth.
I wise Mujahid Abubakar Dokubo-Asari good luck.

  2. I encourage Malam Asari to be very careful and not anger the FG . A tree can not make a forest. He should look for a wayout and not act stupid for he will be destroyed in a matter of days

  3. It is very suprising that to date, some Nigerians can not separate Dim Ojukwu and the cause of the Biafran/Nigerian civil war .
Mr. Gbetou Lele, Ojukwu did not encourage any one or youth/s to take up arms . If you are talking about the Civil War, the people of Eastern Nigeria where forced to defend themselves. You should ask your elders to educate you on this if you were born after the Civil War.
If you are speaking fo the present, I think you do not know where you belong.

  4. Gbetou lele says:

When Ojukwu started encouraging the youths to take up arms against Nigeria, Abuja was busy sleep. Whether the North likes it or not, Asari is just one of the millions in the Delta region.

  5. you cant compare the tagrag militants with over 80000 well traned professional army, they should not start what they can not end, yaradua is being soft wt them, they better accept the amnesty,i ma talking as a experience ex trained service army, the government is too big foe the tag rag army, they should stop bring death and suffering to their people, war is an ill wind that blows no one good, expecially when an ant army is fighting with an elephant army,it will not atke upto a week to wipe the whole rag tag, lets learn from the past

  6. there is an igbo adege that said ugbana okpoko gburu o bu nti chiri ya,after the amnesty any body that posed a threat to the peace move weather asari dokubo or tompolo or okah, they are doing it at their own risk because government will soon cruch them i am sorry they are playing with fire,no one should under rate the federal might.

Hello Nigerians, the solution to these acts of voilence in the coutnry is only to allow each region to control what belong to them and pay a fixed rate as tax to the federal body. Thanks

The radiobiafra international Washinton DC is really wonderful they predicted that nigeria government is looking for a way to cause problems within different factions in the niger delta and it has come to reality.Mr Dokubo I know that u may be the last rock that the feds have targeted in that zone but u made a serious mistake by allowing yourself to be used by moslem agents from ondo and oyo state. Now it is time to denounce that religion and come back to where u belong and continue your fight.

  9. Solomon says:

Very very funny. SInce this gentleman, Dokubo has been largely ignored over the past few months that our uncoordinated so-called national leadership resorted to ‘negotiating’ with the MEND people and other militants, Mr Dokubo is trying to re-claim relevance. The best way is to sell this kind of story and let the press help him reclaim some relevance. It is now clear that the only ways to be relevant in this country are either to join PDP and contribute to the looting of the treasury or become a renegede, call yourself a militant, gather a few jobless youths,, arm them and get the press to announce you as a warlord in the Niger Delta. Who needs to go to the University any more? Just join PDP or arm yourself and you will become a celebrity. Only God will save this country.
