MAKURDI — Speaker, House of Representatives, Mr. Dimeji Bankole has declared that as representatives of the people, members of the National Assembly would not stop to ensure that Nigerians enjoy the dividends of democracy.
The Speaker made this declaration at Konya in Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State, at a special thanksgiving ceremony in honour of Mr. Iorwese Hembe, representing Konshisha/Vandeikya Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
Bankole, who urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the growth of democracy in the country, asked constituents to continue to demonstrate love and support for their representatives to enable them succeed in their task.
While calling for continued support for his young colleagues at the House of Representatives, the Speaker urged, Mr. Hembe to remain steadfast with his commitment to the wellbeing of his people.
We will enjoy democracy when there is freedom of information. You foolish self-representatives should call Yar’Adua to order. In 1959 when I left CMS Grammar School, I was picking and choosing what job I wanted. people with advanced degrees do not have a future in a country like ours. what is the meaning of the democracy when no one can afford to feed his family and all of you concern urselves with intrigues of how to loot the treasury. I thought his western education will made him more politically lenience with his fellow nigerian and been young, he will be more socially incline to relating with the nigerians in Diaspora. Obviously, he is been displaying Adedibuic political characters since he is been overstaying his welcome in the house. This young man is a waist-representation of his constituency and should be sent home to live on his ill-gotten savings – he has gotten since assuming office; otherwise, he will continue to play political dice with innocent nigerians in Diaspora.

Can Bankole show us his achievements in that house since he assumed the position of speaker? He is a complete failure in the eyes of all nigerians. He made the house unimpressive to people. All they do over there is to harasse the citizens and investors to bring out money for them to share in the name of oversight functions.
