ONITSHA—Dim Emeka Ojukwu, yesterday came under fire as a group of ex- Biafran soldiers and the elders forum of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Anambra State, berated him for threatening a second civil war, should the Appeal Court, Enugu, declare Dr. Andy Uba, Governor-in- waiting, tomorrow.
Addressing reporters, spokesman for the ex-Biafran soldiers, Chief Ejike Nwankwo, who served under Senator Anieto Okon during the war, described as unfortunate, the recent utterances of Ojukwu, threatening war, when Nigerians and Anambra State in particular were busy trying to move the country forward.
“We are pained to hear Odumegwu Ojukwu talk about another civil war, when most of us came back from that war walking on crutches. And he doesn’t even ask how we are fairing.
Ikemba lost command of the war when we lost the war. He should go to the Federal Government to see how our welfare could be addressed, like the leaders in the Niger Delta are doing for their people.
“He can not reduce the entire South East and South-South to Anambra. He has become an APGA slave because he has lost command. He can not threaten the court, neither can he threaten the entire country.”
Nwankwo urged the Court of Appeal, Enugu to disregard the ex- Biafran warlord and give its judgment without fear or favour.
In a separate statement by the Elders Forum of the PDP by its chairman, Chief P Agu and former state chairman of the party, Rev. Canon Orajekwe, the group condemned Ojukwu’s threat of war should the Court of Appeal favoure Dr.Uba in its judgment being expected tomorrow.
“We cannot discuss the case before the Court of Appeal, as we consider same as subjudice. We sincerely believe that the Appeal Court will do a thorough job in spite of Ikemba’s antics. The Appeal Court Justices are too sophisticated to be worried by Ojukwu’s threat.”
According to them “by his statement, Chief Ojukwu is threatening the eminent jurists of the Court of Appeal. We hope he understands the grave implications of his action. We therefore call on the law enforcement agencies to call him to order.”
Yes We The Igbo’s In Abroad We Are Behind Ojukwu For Calling For War Because The Nigerian Government Has Been Thinking That We The Igbo’s We Don’t Know What We Are Doing, They Keep Choosing People For Us To Rull Us In Our Own Land And Is Not Like That In Other Part Of Nigeria, We Support Ojukwu In Anything We Need Our Freedom From The nigerian State Enough Is Enough.
I want you all to know that like cameleon,the PDP knowing that they have lust their chance of smogling Soludo like drugs, have another plan of bringing Andy Uba into the picture to pose as the governor of Anambra state but Andy Uba and others do not know that the northeners and Westerners are secretely keeping the Anambra state politics unstable because they knows that the Igbos will excell if Anambra state politics stands.
Ojukwu is simply saying that the Igbos and in general, Nigerians should stop allowing the PDP to keep apointing our leaders but should allow us choice our leaders to enable us vote for the right person to lead us to the noble way. By adding that we go to war, he meant that if they fail to allow us chose our leaders as should be in true democracy, then it is better we go to war than allow ourselves to be enslaved for no reason.
Have you ever tought of why there has been always problem in Anambra state since the emergence of democracy? If you have some doubts about this, then which other state did the ex-president impose any governor unto? Remember that Obasanjo said openly that he has used anambra state to settle Andy Uba because that is all he asked of him. If he so desire to settle someone with a state, why not his state of origin? A record has it that he is from Ogun state.
Ojukwu in Nigeria is just like the then Mosses in Israel and the earlier we all Nigerians and not just the Igbos stand up, the better for us.
Anambra state belongs to people and such state should not be toiled with. If Chuba Okadigbo whom i regarded to as politics is still alive,his likes will speak just like Ojukwu did and beleive me,such people are the type we need in this life because they are people of good will.
The Government of Nigeria should let us rule ourself directly or we will be forced to civil war and will break away because we are humans. other states elects their governor but the federal government indirectly imposses one on us, yet some of us accepts such a thing.
We all should remember that death will hit us one day and we will be gone so why not do what is right at the right time. As for me, if Ojukwu calls for war tomorrow against this backdrop,i am sure that some Yoruba guys will even join the igbos to fight against Nigeria and if there is any Igbo man left without fighting, then he is blind physically or spiritually but the truth remains that if Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu stands up to pick his gun tomorrow,millions of us are outside waiting for him to say strike and we will be happy to die fighting for justice and what is right.
It is better to die fighting for justice than to die on hunger while some people are seating on your food and water. bussy saving your drinking water at the ocean while u have none to drink.
Come rain come sunshine, Ojukwu Remains a hero in Nigeria,Africa and the world and that man is more than inteligent. Any man who follows his advise will never fall and if you give it a trial,you will never regret it.
I am waiting to hear the news because we are ready for war and peace and anyone that the government and the court brings,we are behind Ojukwu and his commands are final.

Ikemba,you are right .people destroy people is only struggling for the scramble and partition of Nigeria.they guise themselves as elders and saint of the 140 million Nigerians they imprison.
From ,where you left the battle to date ,your kinsmen are the instrument of evil commissioned to destroy your people.we have such people in every tribe in the air space called Nigeria.
We are no longer at ease because of the evil senate,rep,police and army kidnappers working the street as intelligent spy,to recycle the stolen wealth as a measure of income redistribution.
I think the problem with people is the interpretation of issues as they stand. PDP,is directly making choice of devil and the deep blue sea for anambra state.i just have seal my lips bloggers
