The Vice-President of the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA), Jack Warner has slated Nigerian fans, especially the ones in Abuja , for failing to come out to support the Golden Eaglets, in the ongoing FIFA Under-17 World Cup.

Speaking yesterday at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Warner, said Abuja fans particularly disappointed him by booing and jeering the Golden Eaglets, when they were trailing Germany 3-0 in their opener at the Abuja National Stadium.
“These are young players, who deserve to be encouraged, not the way your fans have treated them by booing and walking out of their match. It was disgraceful and I never expected that sort of thing from Abuja fansâ€, added Warner.
