TopComm appointed Umhlanga PR agent in Nigeria

TopComm Integrated  Marketing Communications Solutions Limited has been appointed by a South Africa based travel management company (TMC), Umhlanga Explorer to manage its Public Relations needs in Nigeria.

The move to appoint TopComm its media consultant forms part of the strategic positioning of Umhlanga Explorer to stamp its presence in Nigeria, where it desires to make its quality and affordable services available to South African bound tourists from the country.

According to the terms of the agreement reached by officials of the two companies, TopComm is expected to deploy its expertise to provide services for Uhmlanga Explorer in Nigeria using the four critical areas of public relations, events management, advertising and brands, and media communications.

Umhlanga Explorer is a registered niche operator offering destination management services throughout Southern Africa with headquarters in Kwa-Zulu Natal Province-the Zulu Kingdom.
Mr. Kuben Moodley, Business Development Executive, Umhlanga said that the company looks forward to extending their investment in the Nigerian market with this strategic partnership.

“This development has been in the pipeline for some time with both groups having had discussions in South Africa, before we at Umhlanga Explorer decided to visit Nigeria recently to cement the relationship and discuss making available our select services to operators in Nigeria.”

Continuing, he said, “over the years, the company has built a considerable wealth of experience in dealing with mid-high end clients, corporate companies, international tour and travel organizations and media and film crews, conference and incentives groups in the tourism and hospitality sectors of the South African economy.”

Mr. Seyi Jawando, General Services and Strategy of  TopComm, speaking on the appointment expressed joy that the synergy would afford Nigerian visitors the opportunity to enjoy the services of Umhlanga who are rooted in the business of providing value added ground services to its patron who seek to savour the unique touristic offerings available in South Africa.
