The Board of Kano Pillars Football club has promised to be focused on the league despite the club’s loss in this year CAF Champions League to Heartland Football Club in the semi final.
The chairman of the club, Alhaji Tukur Babangida said that the club would not allow any thing to distract their attention as the club was looking forward to another continental ticket.
Babaginda said that their NPL Premier League match against Zamfara United would boost their point, pointing out that they are not looking at the issue from the angle that the league was still new.
“We are not looking at it from the angle that the league is still new, we are looking forward to gain another continental ticket to play in the next CAF Champions League, the club will take the match one after the other, we don’t want to take any club in the NPL league for granted, other clubs are also eyeing the continental ticketâ€.
