KANO — Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, yesterday, declared that his political future will be determined by the teeming members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Kwankwaso, who was reacting to speculations over his bid to stage a come back to Kano Government House in 2011, a position he lost to the incumbent governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau in 2003 general election, said that the issue of who gets what position in the party will be determined by the level of contribution to the growth and development of the party.
“I am a politician who believes in democracy and I believe that my political future will be determined by members on the next level they may want me to serve their interest,†he stressed.
The leader of the Kwankwasiyya political clan in Kano who decried the posters war among ambitious members of the party in the state, noted that such display will pay little whenever time is ripe to field candidates for elective position.
