Nigeria is gearing up to make  an unprecedented appearance at this year’s World Travel Market in London with a bigger pavilion and diverse products which would appeal to tourists wishing to visit Nigeria as well as investors in tourism sub sector of the economy.
Already, the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation has acquired a bigger space for the erection of a pavilion befitting the emerging tourism market like Nigeria. In the last three years, Nigeria has progressively acquired bigger space for its pavilion.
For example, between 2001 and 2006, Nigeria’s stand was usually not more than a mere 40 square metres but from 2007, the space increased from 55 square metres to 58 in 2008 and 80 square metres in 2009.
