KANO â€” Kabo Air Limited has expressed its readiness to airlift no fewer than 31,324 pilgrims allocated to it for this yearâ€™s hajj.
The Corporate Affairs Manager of the firm, Alhaji Aminu Hamza told newsmen in Kano that the figure, representing 10 percent of the total pilgrims from Nigeria, will be airlifted by its threeÂ Boeing 747s with passenger capacity of 546 passengers each, and a small one with the capacity of taking 218 passengers.
Hamza stated that the airlineâ€™s 30-year experience in Hajj operation and other international and domestic routes will be brought to bear, adding that the airliner will airlift pilgrims to this yearâ€™s hajj from Kogi, Niger, Zamfara, Kebbi , Bauchi, Taraba , Kaduna and Kano states.
He said that the introduction of e-ticket and other major steps have been taken to avoid problems.
